The world has a lot to give if we’d only stop and listen. We need to clear our perceptions of what we consider treasures.

What I heard this week:

• I bought another ______. I don’t have to wear the same thing twice for all of December.
• You can never have too many_____.
• I want a _____.

What I didn’t hear was the word enough. As in, I have enough. As in, I am satisfied and have no need for more.

Don’t feed the greed. Stop and feed your soul. Only then will you feel full and satisfied.

Stop, listen, and reflect.
